Webinar Description

In Episode 5 of our webinar series, How to Excel for Appraisers, we focus on Reconciliation. In the valuation process, it is very common for appraisers to apply more than one approach to value to their assignments. When two or more approaches are used, appraisers must reconcile the value indications.

The goal of this webinar is to equip appraisers with a deep understanding of using weighted analyses to reconcile value indications (Gross adjustments, proximity, recency of sale, ranking etc.) within an approach, and then to form a final value opinion.

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

– Use the included Excel file to apply weighted analyses to four dimensions within the Sales Comparison Approach.

– Summarize approaches to value and develop a final value opinion.

– Understand the importance of analyzing more than one value indicator.

– Learn to recognize that some data indices are more market-oriented than others.
