• Direct video & audio interaction (students & instructors can see each other)
• Virtual Hand Raising
• Q&A chat thread (for student-to-instructor & student-to-student discussions)
• Screen sharing
• Polls
System Requirements
To attend a Live-Virtual class, first ensure you have access to:
• A computer with both audio and video (webcam or built-in camera) capabilities, so you can see and interact with the instructor and vice versa.

• We recommend your download the Zoom app on your computer, tablet or mobile device prior to class (it’s free).
If you have questions about your live-virtual class or the system requirements, please email our Education Director, Ben Maxwell, at ben@storyboardemp.com
Pre-Class Checklist
Prior to joining your virtual meeting on class day, we ask you to complete the following items on this pre-class checklist to ensure the best classroom experience:
- Zoom Meeting Software – Please watch this short video on how to join and navigate a Zoom Meeting: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362193-How-Do-I-Join-A-Meeting
- In addition, we recommend you download the free Zoom application on your computer, tablet or mobile device prior to class day. Click the following link to download Zoom in advance: https://zoom.us/download
- Test your webcam or built-in computer video camera. It is a state requirement that your webcam or built-in computer video be enabled during the entire class. To earn your CE credit for this class, 100% attendance is required and your video must remain active for the duration of class.
- Have a photo ID available to present via webcam at the beginning of class. To get CE credit for this Live-Virtual class, we are required by state licensing authorities to confirm student’s identity at the beginning of class.
- Please join the class 30 minutes early to ensure you’re able to successfully launch the Zoom class meeting and to go through the formal check in process.
For elective CE classes, all course materials will be included in your purchase. Student outline will be provided at the beginning of class.
For the
7-hour USPAP Update, you will need to purchase the USPAP book and student manual separately. Electronic copies of both the
USPAP Book and the
Student Manual can be purchased on the Appraisal Foundation’s website.
