System Requirements:
This course offers an advanced guide to best practices in appraisal review. The goal is to provide real estate professionals with a consistent means of developing and communicating appraisal review assignments in accordance with USPAP. In addition, this course covers updates to USPAP and highlights any specific changes made in the preceding years. Students will complete practical exercises, review examples of review appraisals, and discuss the proper methods, as articulated by USPAP for the development and reporting of a review appraisal assignment. By the end of this class, participants will have a better understanding of how to review appraisal reports for USPAP compliance. They will have a working knowledge of Standards 3 and 4, as well as all aspects of review appraisal best practices.
MAIN COURSE OBJECTIVES

Hal Humphreys is a real estate appraiser with more than 30 years in the business. He has served as an expert witness in civil and criminal cases where citizens (many times, appraisers) were accused of fraud or negligence and as a contract investigator for the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance.
