ScanToSketch: Practical Application of Mobile Appraising

UAD 3.6 isn’t coming. It’s here.

And it will eat your lunch if you’re still clinging to clipboard-and-camera appraising.

In this session, Joel Baker delivers seven hours of hands-on training in mobile appraising. This is not a sales pitch. It’s a survival guide. You’ll learn how to scan a house, sketch in real-time, and feed the data straight into your report. This course is ideal for TOTAL for Mobile users.

Fast. Accurate. Compliant.

This is the workflow UAD 3.6 demands. If you don’t master it now, you’ll be scrambling later, while your competitors leave you in the dust.

Take this class, and get ready to go mobile. Register now, and stay in the race.

What is ScanToSketch?

ScanToSketch is an advanced mobile sketching feature that allows the appraiser to just walk around the property, mark each of the corners, and get an instant sketch of the exterior footprint.

What devices are compatible?

Currently, ScanToSketch is only available on iOS Pro devices. *ScanToSketch is not compatible with Android devices at this time* because Android devices lack the technology needed for scanning.

ScanToSketch in TOTAL for Mobile is currently supported on:
iPhone 12 Pro/Pro Max
iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max
iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max
iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max
iPad Pro 11‑inch — 2nd gen (2020) and newer
iPad Pro 12.9‑inch — 4th gen (2020) and newer

Appraiser’s Guide to the New URAR

This course — created by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac for real estate appraisers, lenders, and industry professionals — will guide you through the transformative changes to the Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD) and Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (URAR) and help you adapt to the UAD redesign.

In the class, you’ll explore the dynamic URAR and how it’s different from legacy reporting processes. You’ll preview scenarios that highlight the new features of the URAR and learn how these changes will actually facilitate better appraisal analysis and reporting. And you’ll come away with a solid grasp of what’s required in the new appraisal reporting framework.
