Are you confident that your land value will hold up if your report is reviewed or challenged?
One of the most frequent state and GSE complaints is that appraisers aren’t supporting land value. That, combined with poorly developing your highest and best use analysis, can result in devastating sanctions and fines from your state and the GSEs. Regulators take it very seriously when a report reveals an appraiser’s failure to understand how to develop and support land value — it’s one of the fundamentals.
In this class, Marty Wagar will demystify how highest and best use and supported land value work easily together. He’ll take you through a checklist of basic questions to consider before accepting and while completing an appraisal assignment. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to tell when an assignment includes difficult or ambiguous land value issues — and you’ll know how to tackle them.
Class is offered via Zoom Meeting.
