Course Description
Want to appraise single-family homes for the Federal Housing Administration (FHA)? In this comprehensive course for lenders, appraisers, and brokers, Bryan Reynolds will guide you through recent policy changes and the latest requirements set forth by the HUD Single Family Residential (SFR) Handbook 4000.1 (updated in 2023).
You’ll learn how to complete the Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (1004 Form) the way FHA wants it done, comply with USPAP, and safeguard consumers by watching for illegal flipping and other regulatory violations. By the end of our course, you’ll be an expert on what FHA requires. And even if you’ve never done an FHA appraisal before, you’ll be ready to apply for their panel.

Course Reviews

One of the best courses taken, mostly due to Bryan being an engaging speaker. Have had a couple where the presenter was most effective at putting me to sleep.

The course exceeded my expectations. I found it to be very informative and expanded many of the items in USPAP. I would recommend it to other appraisers.
