This class is designed to provide real estate appraisers with an overview of restricted and oral appraisal reports, as defined in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). These reporting options are often underutilized by appraisers but can be valuable tools in certain situations.
In this course, participants will learn about the characteristics and requirements of restricted and oral appraisal reports, including when they may be appropriate and how to produce them. The course will cover the differences between these types of reports and full appraisal reports, and explore the benefits and limitations of each.
Participants will also gain an understanding of the USPAP requirements related to these reporting options, including the required elements of each report and the responsibilities of the appraiser in providing accurate and reliable valuation results.
Upon completion of this course, participants will have a greater understanding of the options available for reporting appraisal results and will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to produce restricted and oral appraisal reports when appropriate.
